Flying into Gold Coast Airport
When planning to fly into the Gold Coast and staying at Chevron Towers Resort it is advisable to reserve online and coordinate your arrival way ahead of time. If you have friends or relatives coming in earlier, it’s good to have them check your reservations again. The reservation staff at Chevron apartments are efficient, but if you want to be really sure, especially during peak season, there’s no harm in asking.
Most people fly to the Gold Coast arriving at Coolangatta Airport located at the southern end of the Gold Coast. There is a lot of traffic here, especially during the holidays. So if you want to enjoy your flights coming to Chevron, it is best to be prepared.
There are two major airways flying in to Gold Coast, Virgin Blue and Qantas. If you want to save in airfare, you can choose Virgin Blue. It doesn’t have the perks of Qantas so, you better be prepared with your sweater and woolen socks, to have that joy flight coming in Gold Coast.
You can also book at one of the many other airlines flying into Coolangatta airport. There are Australian domestic airlines like the Tiger Airways, Jetstar and Pacific Blue. If you are flying in from Southeast Asia, there are also flights straight to Gold Coast with Thai Airways and Malaysian Airlines. Air New Zealand is the airline who has flights straight to the Gold Coast from New Zealand.
The airport has undergone major repairs and it is now functioning well so you can enjoy real stress free vacationing in the Gold Coast. After arriving in Gold Coast, there is transportation available going straight to your reserved Chevron apartment including public transport or booked transportation. You could even hire your own hire car. You may also opt for a serviced transportation from Chevron at a minimal price, or you can pay for a cab to go to Chevron Apartments.
Alternatively, you can fly to Brisbane Airport, which is one hour drive to Gold Coast.
