My holiday at Chevron Towers Resort on the Gold Coast

Working in a broadcasting company back home I am really busy and sometimes feel overwhelmed. Sometimes working 24/7 is not as easy as one can imagine, especially when editing lots of stories and films. I decided to request to have a week long holiday to the Gold Coast, and booked my stay in Chevron Towers Resort.

I decided to check out the entertainment and nightlife that the Gold Coast has to offer. I stepped right into Cavill Avenue on a Friday night, only around the corner from Chevron Towers Resort and discovered there are people from all over the world enjoying the music and dancing in the night clubs.  The next day however, I was quite tired of seeing dancing people, as I am in the entertainment industry, so I decided to change course and visited the Wax Museum, not very far from Chevron Towers Resort. I am quite amused with some personalities all solid and not moving but looking very much alive. It is a popular tourist destination and I did take a snapshot with my favorite wax Hollywood actors.

I decided to check out the haunted house nearby, it is known as the Dracula’s Haunted House. We have done films about scary movies at work, so I was interested to check out this attraction, just across the road from Chevron Towers Resort. Dracula’s Haunted House is different from the usual love-horror story like Twilight, it can really can get under your skin, it was very scary.

In the morning, I decided to visit the Adrenalin Park in Surfers Paradise, and tried out bungee jumping and the fly-coaster ride where I had a great, fun time.

After checking out all of these activities within walking distance from Chevron Towers Resort, unfortunately it was time to go home and back to work after my fun Gold Coast holiday.
