The Gold Coast region is a hot spot for tourists and has long been a favorite destination of vacationers and tourists, both international and domestic. Some opt to stay a month or two, others, for a week or a couple of days. A day or two just doesn’t seem enough with all that the Gold Coast has to offer.

Now if you are planning to navigate your way through the Gold Coast it is best to start planning first which places you plan to visit. Then choose which type of accommodation and where you want to eventually stay during your Gold Coast holiday.

Typically there are two major differences when renting houses in the Gold Coast, depending on whether you are planning a short or long term stay. If you are planning to spend your holiday in the middle of the city but at the same time near the tourist spots, Chevron Towers Resort is strategically located.

This contains many apartments in three accommodation towers. There are one, two and three bedroom apartments which go up in price the bigger they are and the higher the floor they are on. Chevron Towers Resort often has special deals on apartments for 3, 5, or 7 night stays so keep your eye out for these specials.

If you plan to stay longer you can choose to stay in and rent a long term apartment which can be booked via the net or through a real estate agent. You will probably want to organise this before you get to the Gold Coast.

Renters can find a nice and comfy place to stay for a much lower price per week than if you were staying at short term accommodation like Chevron Towers. Remember that rental accommodation won’t be serviced but you may still have resort facilities like a pool, spa and gym in your apartment block.

Make sure you organise your accommodation before you arrive on the Gold Coast. This is important because you shouldn’t be finding yourself in the middle of the road at midnight, with no place to stay. Because the Gold Coast has many events throughout the year accommodation can often be fully booked out, so take care and book in advance.
