Where to go shopping on Boxing Day on the Gold Coast

After a nice Christmas dinner you had in a fancy restaurant at Chevron Renaissance restaurant or maybe you had a drink or two in a pub in Surfers Paradise, for sure you must probably be tired. Hey! Christmas celebration might be over, but there is another holiday that for sure you want to celebrate and that is “Boxing Day”.

This is the day when you can get discounts, great deals or bargains from different shopping centres. In Gold Coast, there are a lot of shopping centres that you can choose from. You can choose from dropping by at a designer’s boutique, local craft markets or themed shopping villages.

You can even go on a late night shopping along the streets of Elkhorn and Orchid Avenues that are selling expensive designer’s products coming from Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, and Prada. Shops found at these avenues will be open ‘til 9pm.

Boxing Day this year falls on a Saturday which is just perfect timing for Carrara Markets since these markets are always held on weekends and even dubbed as the largest markets in the whole Gold Coast region.

If you are keen to shop more, you can drop by at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre where Australia’s best retailers come together to sell their products. Harbour Town offers stylish and magnificent stores selling top quality items such as store label stock.

Another must visit shopping centre is the Oasis Shopping Centre. It has a total of 100 stores and even more that are selling fashion, homewares and gifts. Other shopping centres that you might want to visit are Paradise Centre, Australia Fair, and Marina Mirage.
