My honeymoon at Chevron Renaissance Resort

When my sweetheart asks me to marry him, there are three things which immediately crossed my mind: the date, the wedding and the honeymoon. The best part was the time we spent together after the wedding, relaxing on our Gold Coast honeymoon. We chose Chevron Renaissance Resort for our honeymoon, because it has all the things we want rolled in one.

Chevron Renaissance is charming and our self contained apartment is located at a high level where we have beautiful ocean views. You shouldn’t miss the “Beaches in the Sky” with its beautiful lagoon style pools where you can swim, sunbathe, enjoy a spa and have an enjoyable BBQ lunch or dinner (see photo below).

Only a short stroll from Chevron Renaissance is Surfers Paradise beach. We enjoyed nice walks together along the sea shore where we spent some time together. We also enjoyed the beach, sun bathing and swimming, which was a nice way to relax on our honeymoon.

While touring around the Gold Coast, we also talked about how we can invest our finances. Raising a family is one of our priorities and I think as team of husband and wife we have to make a happy family, through loving and building wealth.

The last day of our honeymoon came around far too quickly, but we decided to visit Palm Beach Reef. Back in the university with some friends, I am fond of navigating the reefs, I loved seeing luminous eels and fish and colorful coral. Palm Beach Reef has its own charms, like soft corals in different colors. You will also see fish, stingrays, and also sharks around like leopard sharks, though luckily we didn’t the time that we were there. There are lots of reefs to choose to dive or snorkel at on the Gold Coast, including Kirra Reef and Nine Mile Reef.

Your honeymoon is a time of bonding together, and getting to know your partner in life intimately, and Chevron Renaissance Resort made our honeymoon unforgettable.
