Itinerary for a week-long holiday on the Gold Coast
Are you ready to take a break and have a real holiday? If you are then, it’s now time to enjoy life a little bit more and travel somewhere that you can relax and chill out! One of the best things that you can do is plan for a week-long vacation to the Gold Coast, Australia.
Why Gold Coast? It is because it’s one of the best destinations that you can find in Australia and around the world as well. What a good way to discover the treasures of this beautiful paradise by spending 7-days here of pure fun and excitement.
Before you even start hopping in a plane and wait a couple of hours to reach Gold Coast, you need to plan where to stay during your 7 days. If you want to stay in one of the best Gold Coast accommodations, you should book an apartment at Chevron Renaissance resort. Here, you have everything you need right in the centre of Surfers Paradise. The resort has spacious apartments with great interiors and nice views of the Gold Coast region.
Now that your accommodation for your week holiday is already reserved, it’s now time for fun!
For your first day, it is highly recommended that you wander around the magnificent Chevron Renaissance resort. Take a dip in the lagoon pools. You will love swimming in this beautiful pool surrounded by waterfalls and manicured gardens. After exploring and swimming, you might as well visit one of the cafés found within the vicinity of the resort. If you fancy going shopping, then go and visit Chevron Renaissance Mall, located right below Chevron Renaissance Resort. You will find everything you need. After a long day of shopping, go have a massage at one of the Day Spa’s located inside the Chevron mall.
Do you love collecting antiques and different sorts of jewellery or arts? Then go and visit Sue Ellen Gallery & Antiques. Here you will find beautiful art pieces, European antiques as well as the finest jewellery your eyes have ever seen. If you fancy more of looking at art pieces then drop by at Escape Gallery & Coffee Lounge. Witness an eclectic mix of craft and art all in one place. Here you can find beautifully crafted glassware and gifts. The best part is the displays are updated often in order to give visitors fresh and more variety of art to look at. What a great way to spend your second day in Gold Coast, right?
As for your third day of your Gold Coast holiday, be amazed at watching over thousands of shiny glow worms at Mt. Tambourine Glowworm Tours. You will be up for a nice adventure and you are guided with underground sightseeing trips through man made caves. After watching thousands of glow worms, it’s now time to go to Tambourine Mountain Distillery. Here you will take a tour around the smallest operating pot still distillery, located at Tambourine Mountain in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
On your fourth day spend it on Superbee Honeyworld and get the chance to taste free honey! Have fun touring around at a honey factory that exports most delicious honey towards 25 countries around the world. If you love a sip of wine, then visit Albert River Wines.
Get the chance to have an up close encounter with a historical village when visiting Old Beenleigh Historical village. The village is composed of 22 heritage buildings, classic old-machinery, antiques and many more. This is a great way to spend your fifth day.
For your sixth day, if you want to have peace and solitude spend a whole day at Peace Pavilion. It is a non-religious facility where people who come from different parts of the world, locals and even visitors can visit the place for free. Or why not relax with a good book at one of the many beautiful Gold Coast beaches.
As for your final day, visit Qdeck. Here you will be taken up to the highest point right above Gold Coast for a magnificent 360-degree view of the Gold Coast hinterland, surf and beyond. All you need to do is go right into the Observation Deck which is located on the 77th and 78th level. Even better, head up the Qdeck at sunset – what a way to finish your Gold Coast holiday.
Enjoy your 7 day vacation on the Gold Coast, Australia!
