The nightlife experience in Surfers Paradise
After a whole day travelling around and exploring Surfers Paradise, I decided to have a relaxing spa at the resort we are staying at: Chevron Towers Resort. After dinner my travelling friends and I decided we wanted to experience Surfers Paradise nightlife and started planning our night out.
We decided to visit a bar, with good music for dancing. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe, which is near the beach and right in the middle of Surfers Paradise. It was easily accessible, as Chevron Towers Resort where we were staying, is also in the heart of Surfers Paradise.
It was my first time to experience real rock ‘n’ roll, and Hard Rock Café successfully caters to international guests. I think this is the Gold Coast’s best rock and roll hub. We also went into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Museum, where the historical personalities of Australia’s Rock ‘n’ Roll history are showcased.
Later, after many energetic dances we decided to check out more of the several other nightclubs which are nearby. We ventured further into Cavill Avenue and Orchid Avenue, the two streets where the majority of the Surfers Paradise night spots are located.
We danced the night away in Cocktails and Dreams, the Bedroom nightclub and Melbas. I realized that these night clubs are always full of people, mostly in their 20’s. I asked one bartender if it is always jam-packed in Gold Coast, and he said, it is always busy, especially during holidays and summer and when the students are on vacation.
The last interesting place we decided to visit was Shooters Lounge Bar and Nightclub. It’s known as a bar for backpackers! There were lots of young people there. If you happen to be staying in Chevron Towers Resort make sure you too dance the night away at the nightclubs in Surfers Paradise. I will always remember my nights out while staying at Chevron Towers Resort.
