The place to be: Surfers Paradise Esplanade
I told myself that what I just needed was a vacation. These are the words I told myself before I booked my week long vacation in Surfers Paradise. Indeed, I was looking forward to being in a place where I can just watch the blue ocean and feel the cool sea breeze on my skin. Truly, this is a haven of peace because I can now see seagulls flock the beach, I can see that there are sun-drenched surfers walking on the beach while others are just sunbathing.
This is my dream vacation where I just relax and chill out. This is what I call beach life. Yesterday, I went biking along the Surfers Paradise Esplanade and just felt the morning sea breeze touching my face. I stopped for awhile and strolled for a few minutes on the water’s edge. Luckily, I saw a beach side bar, a sort of oasis in the desert. I begin to experience thirst and I bought myself a bottle of ice cold beer.
I saw professional surfers, and I was enticed to get a board and hire the services of surf instructors on Surfers Paradise Beach. I had to put in lots of sunscreen with SPF 50 to block the sun, and enjoy the great waves at the beach. I had such a great time.
At the end of the day, during nightfall, the long line of beachfront markets invite me to stroll along the Surfers Paradise Esplanade once again alongside the moonlit ocean.
This is indeed my idea of a holiday vacation, experiencing the cool sea breeze while relaxing on the beach. One of my favourite spots was the Surfers Paradise Esplanade along the beachfront, where runners, roller-bladers, walkers, holiday makers and locals alike can be found, as well as the night markets, picnic tables and grassy areas to relax. I hope to invite some of my friends next time so we can all enjoy everything Surfers Paradise has to offer.
